Freak shows?

Well.

I've done many a research project on freak shows.

Hmmm...anyway!
Here is my fact for you!
Freak shows often displayed people that were unusually tall or short(i.e "Anita The Living Doll" was just a very short woman), or maybe with many tattoos or piercings, and even ocasionally, the freak shows would also display deformed animals(i.e Two headed cows, a goat with five legs etc.)

Fun stuffs, right?

But seriously, that's my entry!

@Ladystorm

I feel the same way! =/ I'm against them of course ut the ooks really deal more with supernatural stuff, not so much the freak show-ness of it. xD The story mostly just gets kick started by that.

@Kieran Cool fact! And yes in fact I did know that! I had a feeling you were following me... I was right! :O

@Catherine Really?? Wow that's awesome! haha

Thanks for your entries guys! :) And thanks for following!

I guess one interesting thing about them is that most of the "freaks" were not really freaks. They were just people that we just a little bit different. Either really short, had lots of tattoos.. things that we probably would find normal today.

I just like seeing something abnormal that is REAL ... or that is put off as real. It's just so interesting.

Um but for a FACT Darren Shan was a runner up in a TV scrip writing competition in Ireland when he was 15. It was titled A Day in the Morgue.
